Since 1995 Darin M. Camarena Health Centers, Inc. (DMCHC) has raised over $84,200 and awarded 87 scholarships to Madera County students with a career focus in the field of medicine. Funds are raised with the assistance of DMCHC Board of Directors, employees, local politicians and community members who join together to provide the community with a delicious tri-tip or vegetarian lasagna luncheon & raffle. This year’s scholarship lunch will be held Friday, February 20th, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Veteran’s Memorial Hall on the corner of G & 6th streets in Madera.
