Position: Marketing Specialist I

Summary: 

SUMMARY:

The Marketing Specialist assists in the planning and execution of various marketing campaigns and strategies. Including, but not limited to the creation, implementation, and monitoring of marketing campaigns and strategies, and provide engaging and timely social media content to Camarena Health’s various channels. The Marketing Specialist will also help with internal communications through Camarena Health’s employee intranet, as well work with the marketing and communications team and outside branding agency for organized project management. This position will also work with Camarena Health’s Outreach department to collaborate on effective reach within the community. This position reports to the Corporate Communications Manager and Chief Administrative Officer.

Duties and Responsibilities:

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITES

  1. Internal and External Marketing:
  • 1. Assist in design and implement marketing campaigns and strategies for mixed media platforms (digital, print, television, etc.)
  • 2. Assist in design and implement community engagement pieces for mixed media platforms
  • 3. Work with Camarena Health Outreach on community engagement strategies.
  • 4. Oversee and regularly publish content to social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube)
  • 5. Attend private and public events as needed.
  • 6. Other duties as assigned

 

  1. Digital Marketing
  • 1. Assist in design and implement marketing campaigns and strategies for mixed media platforms (digital, print, television, etc.).
  • 2. Assist in design and implement community engagement pieces for mixed media platforms.
  • 3. Oversee and regularly publish content to social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube).
  • 4. Monitor BirdEye customer feedback system and run analytics reports
  • 5. Maintain technical proficiency and digital marketing trends to effectively communicate Camarena Health’s message.
  • 6. Other marketing and Communication duties as assigned.

 

  1. Teamwork

  • Various other job related duties as assigned by CAO and other Executive Leadership Team members. Job duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally either in writing or verbally.

Minimum Requirements:

Education:                        

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, or related field required.

 

Prior Experience:                           

  • Professional experience in marketing, communications, public relations, or similar role
  • Hands on experience in social media management
  • Exceptional media writing skills preferred

  • Ability to meet deadlines

  • Experience with Windows operating system
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud preferred
  • AP style copywriting skills preferred
  • English/Spanish bi-lingual is a plus
