    Frequently Asked Questions

The goal of the School Based Health Center is to keep student’s healthy, active and in school learning! The SBHC works closely with the school nurse and administration to provide secure access for the the students before, during, and after the school day. All student’s must have a parent consent form on file prior to the nurse allowing a student to be seen in the center.

Parent’s can schedule routine check-ups, teeth cleanings and regular appointments for their student during the school day. The SBHC staff will work with the school nurse to get students to and from their appointment and then back intro class learning.

All parents must give prior consent. Simply sign the parent consent form (providing insurance information) by filling out the online form, or downloading a printable version and returning to your school office or email to MobileHealth@camarenahealth.org.
