A New Era of Walk-In Care in Chowchilla
In March 2024, Camarena Health proudly opened its newest urgent care center in the heart of Chowchilla, marking another milestone in our two-decade commitment to the community.
The 9,000-square-foot facility was celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, tours, and an outpouring of community support. Conveniently located just off Hospital Drive, this modern center expands access to urgent care services with walk-in availability and is designed to grow alongside the needs of Chowchilla residents.
“This new location allows us to bring much-needed urgent care services to residents while continuing to meet the healthcare needs of the community for many years to come,” said CEO Paulo Soares.
Expanding Access in Fresno Through Partnership
Just a few months later, in July 2024, Camarena Health extended its reach even further by opening a new urgent care facility in Fresno through a unique partnership with Saint Agnes Medical Center.
As part of a strategic transition, Camarena Health assumed operations of the Saint Agnes Main Campus Urgent Care—bringing our patient-first model of care to Fresno County. Now open seven days a week, the new site provides residents with timely, high-quality care while reinforcing our mission to make healthcare more accessible.
“This transition furthers our commitment to delivering quality care and making a meaningful impact on the health and wellness of more individuals in our community,” shared Soares.
