Celebrating National Health Center Week
National Health Center Week 2025 was a meaningful celebration honoring the theme “60 Years of Improving Our Nation’s Health: Past, Present, and Future.” This year is especially significant as Camarena Health marks its 45th anniversary of dedicated service to our community. Throughout the week, we embraced activities that showcased our ongoing commitment to agricultural workers, patients, staff, and children, honoring our history while looking forward to a healthier future for all. Here’s a look back at the week’s memorable moments and how we continued to give back.

Saturday, August 2 - Celebrating 60 Years of Progress
The celebrations kicked off early in Los Baños with our partnership at Assembly member Esmeralda Soria’s Backpack Distribution event, where Camarena Health hosted an interactive booth. Families enjoyed face painting and school supply giveaways, helping ensure local children were ready for the new school year.
Monday, August 4 - Staff Appreciation Kickoff
Staff appreciation kicked off on a high note with spirit week themed dress-up days. Adding to the excitement, all staff were entered to win daily raffles. Each team member received an activity book and a commemorative 45th anniversary pin accompanied by a personal message from CEO Paulo. Clinics showed creativity with colorful banners to display in their lobbies, as a thank-you messages to patients and celebrations of National Health Center Week. llamcorper mattis, pulvinar dapibus leo.
Tuesday, August 5 - Patient Appreciation Day
Patients took center stage. Assembly member Soria visited the Almond Campus for a guided tour while learning about Camarena Health’s services. From 12–3 p.m., the campus hosted an interactive tabling event, offering information and giveaways. That evening, we partnered with Assembly member Esmeralda Soria’s team to host a community event that featured wellness screenings, face painting, and school supply giveaways, bringing smiles to children and parents alike.
Wednesday, August 6 - Health Conditions Focus
Health awareness moved to the forefront with outreach booths at the Oakhurst and Chowchilla sites. Our outreach team connected with patients and visitors to share about National Health Center Week and information on resources offered at local clinics.
Thursday, August 7 - Population Focus Day
Camarena Health extended its appreciation beyond clinic walls, visiting agricultural partner sites to thank farmworkers for their hard work and essential contributions to community health.
Friday, August 8 - Gratitude Day
The week wrapped up by turning gratitude inward. Staff across all sites received reusable Camarena Health tumblers as part of a “going green” initiative, encouraging sustainability by reducing paper cup use. It was a small token of appreciation for the people who make Camarena Health’s mission possible every day.
National Health Center Week 2025 was a tribute to the people who make our community strong. Celebrating alongside Camarena Health’s 45th anniversary made it even more special, honoring our past while looking toward a healthier future. We’re proud of all we’ve accomplished together, and we’re just getting started.
