At Camarena Health, we believe that investing in the future of healthcare starts with empowering those who teach. Our inaugural Preceptor Development Training, held at the scenic Pines Resort in Bass Lake, is a direct reflection of our commitment to shaping the future of healthcare as part of the Aspire to Inspire campaign.
This event offered our healthcare providers an immersive experience in advanced teaching methodologies. Through engaging workshops, clinicians refined their skills in roleplaying, providing constructive feedback, and effectively addressing student concerns. The goal was to enhance their capabilities as mentors, ensuring they are well-prepared to guide the next generation of healthcare professionals.
Chris Fasulo, a key figure in the initiative, played an instrumental role in its success. Chris, who began his journey in the first A.T. Still University Aspire to Inspire cohort in 2016, has since become a lead preceptor at Camarena Health.
“Education is a two-way street. It’s humbling to learn alongside our students, fostering an environment where everyone feels valued and supported.”
Chris Fasulo
His leadership exemplifies the values we strive to instill in our educational programs.
By equipping our providers with these vital tools, we are elevating education standards and nurturing a culture of continuous learning that benefits both students and educators alike. This training is a testament to Camarena Health’s dedication to developing the future of healthcare, one preceptor at a time.
