Wellness in Motion
At Camarena Health, wellness has never been defined by the walls of a clinic. It’s something we believe should be woven into everyday life—through movement, connection, and moments that help people feel stronger in both body and mind. In 2024, that belief came to life in new and inspiring ways.
What began at Tesoro Viejo expanded to multiple sites across our organization, thanks to the passion and leadership of team members like Cristina Rendon and Dr. Carolina Gutierrez Garcia. Together, they championed a growing lineup of movement-based programming—yoga, pilates, and gym circuit classes—welcoming patients and community members of all ages and fitness levels.
And when space ran short? The team didn’t slow down. They simply got creative. At Chowchilla North, the waiting room became a temporary yoga studio during shift changes, proving that wellness isn’t about having the perfect space—it’s about having the heart and intention to make it happen.
Each class brought people together, built confidence, and created a ripple effect of healthy habits throughout the community. More importantly, it helped redefine what care looks like at Camarena Health: accessible, adaptable, and rooted in the belief that everyone deserves the chance to move and feel well.
